Research Environment is created through the following: PG students take up project as part of their curriculum, students are trained for field work, data collection, data processing by SPSS & Excel and Map analysis in GIS software. The theoretical knowledge of research methodology in Geography are also a part of their major papers. We are also offering Research Analytical Techniques subject through SPSS software as Elective for other Department PG students as choice based. There is a separate cabin for research scholars and also access to Digital Cartographic & GIS Lab, digital library of the college, department library with wide range of books from latest to old editions. College also has FIST Lab which is a specialized lab equipped with latest software and testing units for all the science departments. Research Scholars have special access to FIST Lab.
